Welcome to the Lutheran Faith Formation Blog
Welcome to the Lutheran Faith Formation Blog. My name is Pastor Mary Ellen Steinkraus, and together with my ministry partner, Pastor William Pohl we are sharing the Confirmation Ministry Process called Lutheran Faith Formation with you and want to work with you to develop it for your use within your church.
We are both LCMC (Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ) Pastors who have successfully implemented the Lutheran Faith Formation process in various Lutheran churches. This process was developed to equip parents and families to grow together in faith by helping parents keep their promises made when their children are baptized. The process begins at Baptism and continues through Grade 12.
We invite you to partner with us in developing this process further and would like your input on our blog posts. You can do that by posting in the blog itself or by contacting us through email at lutheranfaithformation@gmail.com.
The first 15 blog posts describe, in general, the Confirmation process from grades 3-11.
We look forward to hearing from you.

Revisit and Improve the Current Confirmation Ministry
HOW DID WE GET HERE? WHAT NEEDS TO BE REVISITED TO IMPROVE FAITH FORMATION OF OUR YOUTH? There are, as with so many such questions, multiple answers to that question as I see it. Reality is that the years of grades 6-9 are the… Read more
